I’m Thor, the owner and the person who actually handles your order.
My background is in mechanical engineering — Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, plus an Associate’s in Automated Systems Technology. I spent over ten years working professionally in mechanical design and manufacturing, and I hold a CFPHS (Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist) certification from the International Fluid Power Society.
That background matters because most of the equipment covered by the manuals I sell — tractors, loaders, excavators, presses, industrial machinery — runs on the same mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems I worked with for a decade. When customers ask whether a manual covers a specific hydraulic system, attachment, engine, or serial range, they are speaking with someone familiar with the equipment and systems involved — not simply reading information from the cover.
Business Background
I started selling technical literature on eBay as shamrock262 in 2015, originally as a side project rooted in a personal interest in vintage machinery and OEM documentation. As the collection grew, the customer base grew. I formed Shamrock Sales LLC in 2020 and went full-time in 2023.

How I Source
Every manual in our inventory has a story. I acquire literature from estate sales, retiring mechanics, dealership owners, machinery dealers closing locations, industrial auctions, repair shops, machine shops, and long-term private collections across the United States. I don’t reprint, scan, or photocopy — what you see is what shipped from the factory, often decades ago.
